Join us at the Boerne Family YMCA for a free community education event with Methodist Physicians Women's Health & Midwifery.

Learn how certified nurse-midwives provide personalized, evidence-based care for women through every stage of life, including gynecologic care, pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Working alongside OB-GYNs and maternal-fetal medicine specialists, they support both low and high-risk pregnancies.

In one week, we'll be celebrating Campfire Across America at the Boerne Family YMCA, and we'd love for you to join us!

🕙 10:00–10:30 a.m.

We'll spend the morning singing camp songs, creating a fun craft, and sending everyone home with a s'mores kit to enjoy later. (We'll be taking the s'mores home, not making them at the Y!)

It's a great chance to spend time with friends, meet new faces, and enjoy a fun morning together as a community. We hope you'll join us! 💚

Out of an abundance of caution, all YMCA of Greater San Antonio facilities will open on a delayed schedule tomorrow, Thursday, July 16, at 8:00 a.m.

Our team is continuing to closely monitor weather conditions overnight and throughout the morning. If additional changes to branch hours, classes, or programs become necessary, we will communicate them as quickly as possible.

We encourage everyone to stay safe, avoid flooded roadways, and follow guidance from local officials. If travel is unsafe in your area, please stay home.

If you're unable to make it to the Y, you can stay active with YMCA360 through your YMCA app, featuring hundreds of on-demand workouts, fitness classes, youth activities, and wellness content for the whole family.

🎉 We have another Boerne 5K Flag Run celebration! 🇺🇸🏃

Earlier, we recognized Boerne Family YMCA member Gerry Plock for completing the Boerne 5K Flag Run. We also want to recognize Kayla Sharver, our Boerne Family YMCA Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer, who also took part in the same race on the Fourth of July.

Congratulations to both Kayla and Gerry on a fantastic race! We are proud to celebrate their dedication to healthy living and the positive example they set for our YMCA community. ❤️💙🤍
