Meet Ana
Ana and her family came into our lives way back when we lived in Washington. Ana was assigned to be on our Teeball team with Bobby. At that time Addie was only 10-11 years old and just starting to transition from little league to travel ball. But during that whole season Addie was present in helping us with this team. She ran drills, cheered with them in the dugout, gave tips, and really just cared. Throughout all of our years at Glenwood Little League this never changed. Addie was always one of the girls others looked up to and felt comfortable asking questions to. So here we are all these years later and Ana wanted to represent Addie’s mission, bring awareness to her league, and proudly wore her hoodie while on concessions duty.
Thank you Ana and family. We sure do miss our WA softball community.

How uncommon is SCA? Not so uncommon that we shouldn’t be trained and prepared to jump in to action, especially at sporting events.
Thank goodness for these off duty firefighters and an AED.

California teen in April saved after SCA.
Again tell me how this is “uncommon” or that lifesaving skills and equipment isn’t necessary!

Our kids deserve to play sports with every possible safety measure put in place. Sudden Cardiac Arrest isn’t as uncommon as people think.
If it were your child you’d want an AED accessibility. They save lives!
