The shirts for October are in! Right now there are about 110 people who’ve checked in for the first to Wednesday runs in October. How many will also make it to the final two runs? Guess right in the comments and YOU’LL get a shirt right along with everyone who came to all four Wednesday runs this month!

This week we’re rolling right along with another pair of New Balance shoes to raffle off AND New Balance will be on site to demo the new SC Rebel with carbon infused plate, and the tried and true 1080.

See you for the Wednesday run! 6:30pm sharp. The run waits for no one.

Last weekend, USATF-NE Champ (yes, that’s how we’re going to refer to him all year), Claudio Rocha, debuted at Hartford Marathon with a 2:17:59. An incredible achievement in its own right.

What we didn’t know until after the race is that his mom, Gina Rocha, debuted at the very same race in 2003, qualifying for the Olympic Trials in the process.

Claudio was a mere tot at the time and 23 years later, Gina got to cheer on Claudio from the course on his way to his own impressive debut.

What a storyline! Great job Claudio; can’t wait to see what’s next!

PRs: shattered.
Carbs: Loaded and unloaded.
All that hay that was in the barn? Gone.
Now comes the celebration.

Thank you, Chicago! Notch came, ran, and conquered. We’ll do it all again next October.
