Wagon Wheel Skate Center opened it's doors to Brighton in 1958. The builder and original owner and Howard Irely.
After managing the rink through the early 60's, Eddie & Mary Trevena purchased the Wagon Wheel in 1968. Never short on labor, the Trevena's, and their 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls) operated the skating rink for over 25 years. In the mid 80's the Eddie & Mary purchased another skating rink in Ft. Collins, Rollerland Skate Center , and moved the family up north. Eldest son Troy stayed behind to ke
