Dream animals. Hard-earned opportunities. One unforgettable moment. 🏔️🏹

Connor Frank shares the story behind his dream mountain goat, a goal that took two trips and nearly 20 days of some of the toughest hunting he’s ever experienced. When the opportunity finally came together, Connor made the shot at 101 yards.

Countless hours of practice, preparation, and persistence all came together when it mattered most.

Congratulations on an incredible accomplishment, Connor! Thanks for sharing your story with Victory Archery.

Friday night lights presented by an October cold front.

5 arrow releases, incredible deer movement, and phone calls all night long! We thought this window could be good and it over delivered - who’s your guess on who was lucky enough to punch a tag last night?

Good luck to everyone out today.

Alex with his first Roe deer on a driven archery hunt!

He says, “My first roe deer on a driven archery
hunt!
During a hunting weekend in the Berry region of France, on our family hunting grounds, I decide to take up an unusual position on a drive I know very well.
The woodland is extremely dense, with plenty of dips in the terrain and thick brambles everywhere.
I take my stand at the end of the drive, just five metres from the woodland edge, between two dips in the ground.
The drive begins, and a few moments later, I hear an animal sprinting towards me. Suddenly, I spot a roe deer coming straight at me!
Hidden behind a large oak tree, I take the opportunity to draw my bow.
The roe deer is coming in at full speed, so I let out a soft "meh" to try to stop it.
The young doe comes to an abrupt halt less than four metres away from me!
The vegetation is dense, and I have very little time. I take aim and release the arrow.
The hit is immediate. I watch her disappear into the brambles, only to reappear about 15 metres further on before collapsing.”

What an incredible moment!

Cold fronts roll in. Leaves hit the ground. Bucks start making moves. October is when patience gets tested, and preparation starts paying off. You never know what the next sit might bring.

Now THAT is how you lead by example! Huge congratulations to Steve Greenwood, Director of Victory Archery, on an absolute tank of a Kansas buck!

At Victory, we don’t just design and talk about the ultimate carbon arrows; our team is out in the woods, putting them to the test on the hunts of a lifetime. Steve is the definition of practicing what you preach. He and the crew at Victory stand 100% behind the arrows they build because they're the exact same ones they trust to get it done when the moment of truth arrives.

Heck of a deer, Steve! Congrats on an absolute giant!
