Tim Little (Ozzy Time) is an excellent customer of ours! He absolutely rips and is full of life and stoke. He rode his 9'4" Classic Hybrid Epoxy Soft Longboard for a year and half straight and put it through the paces.

So once our latest shipment came in, he was the first to grab this model and upgrade to a new version.

Upgrading your fins can be a great way to improve the performance of the board you already have and is arguably the most important upgrade to your board.

Premium fins are lighter and have more stiffness than a plastic or nylon fin which allows for improved surfing. We have developed a line of high-quality fin options with the Degree 33 logo to match your board. Fiberglass are a more classic look where the honeycomb (seen here) is more of a performance aesthetic.

When we say that "The Poacher" has a longboard nose with a shortboard tail, this is what we mean. You could quickly find yourself performing longboard tricks on a 7'2, while still being able to turn as if it was a 6'0.

Our master shaper, Bill Minard, hand-crafted his first surfboard a little over 52 years ago. We asked him if he knew he would continue shaping 52 years later. He simply replied, "I saw all the ways I could improve upon the first board I shaped so I wanted to shape another... this process ended up continuing for the rest of my life."

More highlights from the FCA lineup contest! Here are ambassadors Cole Parrish & Jonathan Nunez checking the conditions before paddling out in a stacked heat. Cole is riding a purple Purist and Jonathan is on his 6'0 custom moon-tail surfboard.

Gabe came in from 's Surf Academy looking for a board to step down from his 9’ Ultimate Longboard he bought from us two years ago.

Through Jakes coaching, Gabe has quickly progressed to a much smaller board and is working his way down to a high performance shortboard. Gabe spoke very highly of Jake's coaching expertise and said he points out details from where his foot is positioned, the angle of his board at take off, and his hand positioning, all of which has helped him take his surfing to another level!
