Turkey Trot registration is open!

Join us for Sip & Paint at CVAC with Jess from Progress, not Perfection Paint Parties. She’ll walk everyone through the painting step-by-step, so no experience is needed.

Bring a friend, enjoy some w**e and light bites, and spend the evening painting, laughing, and doing something a little different.

This Thanksgiving, we’re looking for local businesses who share our love for Monterey County to join us as sponsors of the 13th Annual CVAC Turkey Trot 5K.

On November 26, more than 500 local runners and families will gather on the South Bank Trail for a Thanksgiving morning centered around community and giving back. 100% of this event’s proceeds benefit The Food Bank for Monterey County, helping support the 1 in 5 people in our county who struggle with hunger.

Sponsorship opportunities begin at $250, giving local businesses a meaningful way to connect with our community while supporting an organization doing essential work right here at home.

Beautiful Sunday for a hike on Redwood Canyon Trail, with a bonus hike to Carmel Valley Creamery. Sasha the pup led the way! Total hike distance was 6.4miles 🥾 Next month: Toro Park!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
Our hiking group went to Jacks Peak Park for a lovely hike on the Pine Trail to Coffeeberry Trail to Rhus Trail Loop. We look forward to the next outing!

Summer Camp is officially underway! ☀️

We kicked off camp on Monday, and the week is already full of sunshine, games, crafts, and plenty of happy campers. From parachute play to art time, it’s been so fun seeing the kids settle in and enjoy their summer days at CVAC.

Pickleball for a cause worth playing for 🫶

Join us Friday, June 26 at 3:00 PM for our Meals on Wheels Pickleball Tournament at CVAC!

Grab a partner for this doubles event benefiting Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula. Teams are $50, with 100% of proceeds going directly to MOW to support our neighbors here in Monterey County.

Expect friendly competition, great prizes, live music afterward on the Woody’s at CVAC deck, and a complimentary drink ticket to celebrate a day well played 🍻
