We know yesterday's news was disappointing, and we want to sincerely thank everyone for your patience, understanding, and kind messages of support.

Due to flooding at Little Elm Park, the Town of Little Elm postponed Melon Dash in the interest of everyone's safety. While we were all looking forward to celebrating together this weekend, we're excited to announce that Melon Dash has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026. 🍉

We are sad to announce that the Melon Dash 10K, 5K, Fun Run in Little Elm has been postponed to July 11, 2026.

We did everything possible to try to move forward with the event and worked closely with the Town of Little Elm.
Due to the severe storms and significant rainfall experienced today, portions of Little Elm Park, including sections of the trail system utilized by the event, are currently flooded. While weather conditions are expected to improve, Lewisville Lake serves as a flood-control reservoir, and water levels are anticipated to continue rising as runoff from surrounding areas flows into the lake. As a result, additional portions of the trail system may become inundated over the next 24 hours.
