JUST FOR P**A — A WINNER FIRST TIME OUT! 🏇❤️

What a day for P**a — and for us!

Our first homebred, Just For P**a, won his very first race. Born March 19, 2024, out of our mare Arya’sLightnBolt and by Justify, he exceeded all of our expectations and gave us a debut we will never forget!

This one is especially meaningful because P**a represents the beginning of our breeding program. A huge thank you to Upson Downs, who cared for Arya and P**a before we purchased our farm, and to Silver Springs for breaking him and giving him such a great foundation.

Thank you to Greg and Travis Foley and their entire team, and to jockey Edgar Morales for a terrific ride.

And thank you to our family and friends who sent photos showing their support before the race! We loved seeing everyone cheering on P**a.

A special thank you to my high school friends Connie and Cathy and their husbands Dan and Jon, who are visiting Kentucky and chose to spend the day at the track supporting us. It made the day even more special.

Just For P**a. ❤️

My dad wasn’t just loved by many—he was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

When P**a passed away two years ago, I knew I wanted to name a horse in his honor. For years, I had tried to think of the perfect name, but nothing ever felt quite right.

Until this little guy came along.

Our mare **Arya’sLightnBolt—named after our first granddaughter Arya—**delivered a beautiful c**t by Justify, the Triple Crown winner ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, the same jockey who took us on our own incredible journey to the Kentucky Derby 2026.

And suddenly, the name was right there.

A c**t by Justify, out of a mare named for our granddaughter…our first breed to race too from Trinitas Place.

He was meant to be Just For P**a.

And now, for the first time in Arya’sLightnBolt’s career as a broodmare, one of her babies is going to the races. I couldn’t be prouder—or more emotional—that her first is Just For P**a. ❤️

So let’s make Saturday extra special! Wear your SoS gear, make a sign, or find your own fun way to cheer on this very special c**t who means the world to me.

A win like this takes an entire team, all pulling in the same direction. ❤️

So proud of Tap the Gin and incredibly grateful to everyone who helped get him to the winner’s circle — our trainer Mark Glatt, his groom Luis Palma, Melissa, and jockey Joel Rosario for a beautiful ride!

Every person behind the scenes plays a part, and today we get to celebrate the result together. Congratulations, Team Tap the Gin! And thank you to my Costa Rican cousin Miguel Castillo who named him so perfectly!!
