Anemones are often found in tide pools in the Pacific Northwest. I probably have hundreds, if not thousands, of photos of these guys.
However, I never really knew a lot about them. So I did some research and found these interesting facts.
"Aggregating Anemones often cover themselves in bits of shell and gravel for protection against the sun and drying out during low tide.
Giant Green Anemone has characteristicly bright green tentacles. Their green color comes from symbiotic algae or zoochlorellae living inside their tissues."
