An amazing ‘Carnival in the Park’ is in the books! We now turn to Auditions for season 5! This awesome show took priority and then some. I will be catching up with all audition inquiries tomorrow. Thank you for your patience. We can’t wait to meet you!

The big event is almost here! Carnival in the Park is this Sunday at the beautiful Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The show begins at 4:00. We will be celebrating dance, our graduating seniors and raising funds and awareness for a wonderful charity ‘Little Fork Family Advocacy Center’. This worthy local charity’s focus is helping and advocating for victims of abuse. Former Claremont County Prosector, Founder and Executive Director of LFFAC, Scott O’Reilly, will be our guest speaker. DC congratulates ‘Featured Graduating Senior’ Abby Cross. Abby is a recent graduate of East Central High School. She is an excellent student and role model for her peers and younger dancers at our studio.
Abby has served as Indiana State President for Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Abby is a self motivated scholar and dancer. She is involved in many clubs including National Honor Society.
Abby joined DC competition team her junior year. This young lady has managed to dance on her school dance team as well as compete 5 dances, including a solo, with Dance Collaborative this season.
Abby is a proud recipient of scholarships from Showcase America Unlimited, Bright Lions Club, FCCLA Human Services as well as the Indiana University Cox Engagement Scholarship. She will attend Indiana University in the fall.
We are so proud of this amazing dancer and friend to all. We know she will continue to do great things!
Abby will perform her competitive group dances as well as her senior dance solo with the cast of Carnival in the Park, this Sunday at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

DC congratulates “Featured Graduating Senior” Nivaiya Zanders! Nivaiya is a graduate of Butler Tech School of the Arts. She majored in dance her junior and senior year.
In addition to dance and performance, one of Vay’s passions, in high school, was tutoring students with special needs.
Nivaiya plans on attending The Ohio State University to major in psychology. She hopes to become a therapist and possibly use this specialty to own a daycare someday.
Vay was honored to be offered scholarships from Tuskegee ($5,000) and Miami of Ohio ($11,000). Other scholarship opportunities continue to come in.
Nivaiya has always been a light and a favorite of her peers and our younger dancers. Her smile can light up a small room or a large auditorium! She as the 2025 recipient of the ‘Kathy Vandergriff Memorial Award’ at Sunday Afternoon in the Park.
Nivaiya will perform her competitive group dances as well, she will have a senior feature with the cast of Carnival in the Park, this Sunday at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
Congratulations Vay! We are so proud of you! We know your future is bright and all of us at DC are excited to watch you excel and spread your light to the world. 🤩

DC congratulates ‘Featured Graduating Senior’ Ellie Tepe. Ellie is a recent graduate of Seton High School. She has been a member of ‘Helping Saints’ (a philanthropy club), national honor society, Spanish national honor society, and house government. Ellie is a leader in school as well as in the dance studio. Many young dancers look up to this wonderful role model.
Ellie’s future plan is to attend Miami university and major in social work with a Co-major in Child Life. She plans to become a Child Life Specialist.
Ellie is a proud recipient of scholarships from several universities including Miami University, which is considered one of the top Universities for Child Life.
We are so proud of this amazing dancer and young lady. We know she will continue to do great things!
