Ohio Kings

A great season for the Ohio Kings (13-3). Unfortunately, it did not end the way we wanted. Hats off to the undefeated Nashville Aces for winning the Central Region Red Division Championship. You earned it. Now, go represent in the regional tournament.

To our players and coaches, thanks for always representing the organization with class both on and off the court. We are proud of your efforts, which resulted in another double-digit win season and a trip to the playoffs. Our season may be over, but we are far from done.

Only one team has stood in our way all season. Only one team has defeated us this year (13-2). Today, we have a chance to rectify that. Round 3. Aces vs Kings. Who has the better hand? It's win or go home.

All the stars were out tonight in the Kingdom, with some great performances on display, but one shone just a little brighter. Cam Mitchell grabbed this week's Hightowers Petroleum Player of the Game honors with a monstrous triple-double in a 208-138 win over the Louisville Pros. Mr. Buckets even had 4 steals and a block. Outstanding game!

Big win in the opening round of the ABA Playoffs! The Ohio Kings top 200 points in our final home game of the season. The Kings had five players with 20-plus points, including 59 points from Kourtney Ware and a triple-double from Cam Mitchell, 43 points, 18 rebounds and 15 assists!

What a way to finish at the Kingdom. Thanks to all those who came out to support us tonight. Next, the Kings hit the road for the Red Division Finals next Sunday.
