Watching a mom relax enough to simply rest... thatās my favorite part.āØ
This session included the beautiful Malay postpartum traditions: Mandi Bunga, Perineum Steaming, Foot Soak, Body Massage, Bengkung Belly Binding, and other nurturing rituals that support recovery after birth.
A few spots are left if youād like this kind of care for yourself. Message us anytime!
A little reminder from someone who genuinely loves seeing Malay traditions appreciated:
Please tell the story, too.
If youāre sharing Mandi Bunga, Bengkung Belly Binding, or another cultural practice, donāt just show the pretty part. Tell people where it came from. Explain why itās done. Share the history. Give credit.
Weāre happy to see our traditions being appreciated, but it feels even more meaningful when theyāre being respected, not repackaged.
Our traditions have stories. They have history. They belong to people.

I thought I was raising four kids.
Turns out, four kids were raising me, too.
Every child has met a different version of me. A first-time mom figuring everything out. A more confident mom. A more tired mom. A more patient mom. A mom shaped by different seasons, different jobs, different homes, and a whole lot more life.
Thatās the beautiful part no one talks about enough: with every child, you become a different parent. Not because you love them differently, but because youāve grown differently.
Our kids arenāt the only ones growing up. We are, too.
Motherhood isnāt just watching little people become themselves. Itās quietly becoming someone new alongside them.
āA messy house is a house that is lived in.ā Those are the words I always tell my clients when I walk into their homes and they apologize for the mess.
But honestly⦠I need to remind myself of those same words sometimes. š Iām constantly stressing over the little piles of things, the toys and shoes scattered around, and the never-ending list of chores that somehow starts all over again the next day.
The person who keeps me grounded is my husband. Heās always the one reminding me, not to stress, and sit down for a little, this is normal with 6 people in the house! So I try to also enjoy the little things and what makes our home a home.
Donāt stress, mama. No house is perfect, and a little mess usually means thereās a whole lot of life happening inside. š
