The Central Cavaliers are hosting tryouts this Sunday, 9/20, starting at 1 PM at Safety Harbor City Park. If you believe you have what it takes to compete, develop, and be part of something bigger than the game, this is your chance to come out and show it. We’re looking for serious players ready to work, bring energy, and earn their spot. Discipline. Brotherhood. Opportunity. Community.

Buying into this program is bigger than just saying you want to play football.

We’re looking for players who are serious enough to commit, communicate, show up, work, and handle their player fee. A real football program costs money to operate, and every player who earns a spot has a responsibility to help keep this team moving forward.

Talent matters, but buy-in matters just as much.

If you make this roster, understand that you’re joining something we’re building for the long haul. That means being dependable on the field and accountable off of it.

This Sunday, we want players who are ready to compete for a spot and who are prepared to invest in being part of the Central Cavaliers.

No games. No excuses. No half-commitment.

SERIOUS PLAYERS. SERIOUS COMMITMENT. SERIOUS PROGRAM.

⚔️ ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY FOR THE CAVS ⚔️

Today was another step forward for the Central Cavaliers. Our guys came together, got some work in, competed, had fun, and continued building the chemistry that will carry us into our inaugural 2027 season.

This wasn’t about uniforms, pads, or putting on a show it was about football, brotherhood, competition, and getting to know the men who will be lining up beside each other this season. Every time we get together, this vision becomes a little more real.

We’re building this organization the right way, one step at a time. The foundation is being laid now. 🏈⚔️

The Cavs are coming.

Sunday | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Safety Harbor City Park

Come out and connect with the Central Cavaliers as we check out the field, throw the ball around, and get in some casual pickup football.

This is not an organized practice and not a formal tryout , just a chance for the team to come together, get a feel for the field, enjoy some football, and build chemistry.

If you’ve been interested in being part of what we’re building, this is a great opportunity to come around, meet some of the guys, and see the vision firsthand.

What to expect:

* Field viewing

* Light pickup football
* Meeting the team
* Good energy and good competition

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: BRANDON ANTONUCCI #24 ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are adding another piece to the secondary. Welcome Brandon Antonucci to The Land! 🏈🔥

Brandon joins the Cavs at Defensive Back, bringing a physical, competitive mentality to our defense. At DB, we’re looking for players willing to compete every snap, communicate, play disciplined football and make life difficult for opposing receivers.

Whether he’s asked to cover, come downhill and make a tackle, or help set the tone on defense, #24 is coming ready to compete.

DB • #24 • PHYSICAL • COMPETITOR

Another Cavalier locked in. Another piece of the defense coming together.

Welcome to the family, Brandon Antonucci. ⚔️

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: STANCIO HOWARD ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are adding another Pinellas County product to The Land. 🏈🔥

Welcome Stancio Howard to the Cavs family!

Coming out of Dunedin High School, Stancio brings experience as an offensive weapon who can contribute at both RB and FB. During his high school career, his versatility stood out — he was used in the running and passing game, with his coaching staff looking for ways to get the football in his hands and let him work in space.

Now he’s bringing that versatility, physical running style and experience to the Cavaliers.

RB • FB • VERSATILE • PHYSICAL

Whether it’s carrying the football, catching out of the backfield, blocking or doing the dirty work that helps an offense move, Stancio gives us another weapon for the backfield.

Another local player. Another Cavalier.

DUNEDIN ➡️ THE LAND. ⚔️

Welcome to the Central Cavaliers, Stancio Howard.

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: BRANDON GARY #9 ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are bringing another Clearwater product back to represent the city.

Welcome Brandon Gary to the Cavs family! 🏈

Brandon played linebacker at Clearwater High School, where recruiting services listed him at 6’2”, 225 lbs in the Class of 2019.

And he wasn’t just another name on the roster. Brandon generated legitimate Division I recruiting interest, with reported offers from programs including Virginia Tech, Missouri, Minnesota, Syracuse, Cincinnati, USF, Colorado State, Southern Miss, FIU and UMass.

During Clearwater’s 2018 matchup against Boca Ciega, Brandon was selected as the Tornadoes’ Defensive Player of the Game.

Now he’s getting another opportunity to put on the pads and represent where he came from , this time with CAVS across his chest.

At linebacker, we’re looking for physicality, instincts and players willing to set the tone. Brandon brings a football background that fits exactly what we’re trying to build on this defense.

CLEARWATER ➡️ THE LAND.

Welcome to the Central Cavaliers, Brandon Gary. Time to work. ⚔️🏈

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: JARIUS WILLIAMS #6 ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are adding another explosive weapon to the offense.

Welcome Jarius Williams to the Cavs family! 🏈

Jarius brings experience at RB and Slot WR, giving our offense a versatile playmaker who can line up in the backfield, motion into the slot and create problems in space.

And there’s some real Clearwater history behind this signing. During his time at Clearwater High School, Jarius was part of a Tornadoes team that finished the 2016 regular season undefeated. In a win over East Lake, he rushed for 109 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown, marking his fourth 100-yard rushing game of that season. The Tampa Bay Times also documented him making plays out of the backfield for Clearwater during the 2017 spring game against Clearwater Central Catholic.

That background fits exactly what we want in our offense: speed, vision, versatility and the ability to turn one touch into a big play.

Now #6 gets another opportunity to represent Clearwater — this time wearing CAVS across his chest.

RB • SLOT WR • PLAYMAKER

Welcome to The Land, Jarius. Time to work. ⚔️🏈
