Why do we pair a Med Ball Chest Pass with a Barbell Bench Press?
The med ball chest pass activates the nervous system and primes the exact muscles we want firing for the bench press. This is called Post-Activation Potentiation (PAP) — basically, using an explosive movement first so the body can produce more force in the strength movement that follows.
