Join us as we celebrate 15 years of Firehouse Boxing Gym! Tour the gym, meet past/current Golden Gloves of America champions, referees, coaches, and help us recognize the people who have made Firehouse Boxing Gym a pillar of the community since 2011.

Sean Clerkin's passion for amateur boxing, Irish heritage and commitment to helping others created something that continues to impact lives every day. What began as a gym became a diverse family, producing champions in and out of the ring while serving our community for a decade and a half.

Focused more than ever.

Firehouse Boxing Gym boxers Keishun Terry (21) and Jerry Bridges (24), have advanced to the 2026 Golden Gloves of America National Boxing Tournament May 11-16 in Tulsa, OK.

The two Minneapolis residents will travel with the Upper Midwest Golden Gloves franchise after they secured their qualifying regional championships April 4-5 in St. Cloud, MN.

“We’re all really proud of Jerry, Keishun and the other Firehouse attached boxers who won their qualifying and championship bouts,” said Sean Clerkin. “This is a special time for the gym and proof that everything comes full circle. The last two years for these young men have been extremely difficult and they have been nothing but resilient, steadfast in their training and have lead by example.”
