Who’s making a move in Week 4? 👀

We have just finished up our last day of UNL Team Camp! We finished the camp in 2nd place going 11-1 as a team! Only dual loss came from Kansas returning state champs 42-24! We learned a lot this camp and battled the entire way through! Five days of wrestling is incredibly tough but this group dug deep and continued to work throughout the entire week!

We have been working incredibly hard this month of June! We have had consistently 12-14 girls in the weight room/open mat all summer. 10 plus girls attend summer wrestling leagues, and brought 13 girls to camp! The work we are putting in now will all pay off once season gets here! As a staff we could not be more proud of what this group is doing! Shoutout to Lincoln East alumni Mileena Notaro for dedicating her time and spending time with the girls. Additionally, Coach Jake Hedden of Agoge and Coach Ellenbecker both helped out this week to coach these girls!

The future for these girls at Lincoln East is incredibly bright! Don’t stop the momentum, keep it rolling till we get there!

Down 7-1 Brooklyn comes back in third and gets the FALL!! Way to go Brooklyn!! All heart!

Brooklyn Zimmerman will be wrestling in the All Star dual tonight at UNL!

We finished the day 4-0 in duals! The competition here at UNL is TOUGH. Proud of this group for persevering and battling adversity all day! Two more days left!

Day 3️⃣ of UNL team camp!

Finished up technique this morning, and got four duals this afternoon/evening! We are entering our duals today sitting at 2-1!

Week two of off-season training!

We had a great week of training! 10 plus girls at lifting/open mat each session, and great participation numbers at York, Ralston, and Waverly summer leagues this week!

We have been incredibly proud of this group for dedicating their summer to getting better, putting in work, and chasing off-season competition!

Next week we are headed to the UNL Team Camp for an entire week of wrestling!

Huge shoutout as well to Coach Zay and Sam Baker! Sam will be wrestling at Junior Duals in Indiana, and Coach Zay will be coaching her!
