Spartan Wrestler of the Summer is awarded to Olivia Tucker!

Liv has been an absolute rockstar all summer long! She made 99% of all open mats and lifting since spring! Liv also competed in the UNL Team Camp, Schuyler Summer League, Waverly Summer League, and Ralston Summer League! Way to lead by example Liv!

Spartans in work!

Last week was a very busy week for the Spartans! First, we had Lincoln East Alumni, and JUCO All-American Mileena Notaro in to lead practice! Mileena is a great technician, wrestler, and someone who represents the blue and white proud. We are so fortunate to have her helping us out this year!

Keira Crane went to yet another five day intensive camp at “The Farm” this past week! She even got a high five from Daniel Cormier!

Olivia Parra, Sam Baker, Brooklyn Ellenbecker, Stormie Schultz, and Talia Richtarik all competed at Cornhusker State Games! All girls medaled and picked up very valuable mat time! Sam Baker won three events earning herself the “Iron Man” title! Individual results below:

Sam Baker and Olivia Parra competed at the Battle in Bear Country last night! A unique outdoor wrestling tournament at Omaha Bryan! Both came home with 1st place medals, but more importantly battled tough competition, and navigated through adversity! Great job girls!
