What a Sunday!

It was a busy day at Tactics Matter and while Mother Nature gave us plenty of rain, she couldn’t dampen the fun, learning, and laughter!

We kicked off the day with an amazing Women’s Basic Pistol Class. Despite a whole lot of rain, these ladies showed up ready to learn, build confidence and develop their skills. There were plenty of smiles, lots of learning and more than a few laughs along the way.

Next, we moved into our Try Before You Buy class, where ladies had the opportunity to test some of the top-rated fi****ms being used by women across the country—including many of the same fi****ms used at this year’s A Girl & A Gun National Conference. There’s no better way to find the right firearm than actually getting your hands on it and trying it for yourself!

We then wrapped up a fantastic private session with a wonderful couple who both did an outstanding job. Their progress and enthusiasm made the session incredibly rewarding.

To finish off the day, we conducted a Range Qualification for our Online Texas License to Carry students, helping them take the next step in their self-defense journey.

Lots of rain. Lots of learning. Lots of fun. And most importantly, lots of people investing in themselves and their ability to protect what matters most.

What a fantastic Girls Night Out!

Today, the ladies of A Girl & A Gun spent time on the range working through our Marksmanship Program, sharpening fundamental skills, building confidence, trying different fi****ms, and continuing the journey toward becoming more capable and confident shooters.

One of the best parts of the day was celebrating the accomplishments of several members who advanced to the next level of the Marksmanship Program and earned their beads. Congratulations to each of you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to improving your skills!

As always, the fun didn’t stop when the shooting ended. We wrapped up the day with great food, great conversation, and even better company. The friendships, encouragement, and support within this group are what make these events so special.

We’re already looking forward to the next Girls Night Out!

Today was a very special day at Tactics Matter! We had the privilege of conducting a private Texas License to Carry class for a group of outstanding young men between the ages of 18 and 21.

Not only was the class fun and engaging, but it was truly refreshing to spend the day with such respectful, courteous and well mannered young men. Their eagerness to learn, positive attitudes and maturity made for an exceptional experience. It gives me great confidence in the future to see young adults taking personal responsibility for their safety, education and constitutional rights.

Congratulations to each of these young men on earning their Texas License to Carry! We are proud of you and thankful you chose Tactics Matter to be part of your journey.

What an AMAZING day of training yesterday!

A huge thank you to the incredible Adam Winch for bringing his Dry Fire Clinic to Corpus Christi. We all learned a ton, sharpened our skills, great questions we asked and Adam had LOTS of jokes for all!

One of the biggest takeaways? Dry fire should make up about 80% of your training. It's one of the most effective ways to build confidence, consistency and skill without ever firing a live round.

If you weren't able to attend, you truly missed a fantastic learning opportunity!

To top it all off, we wrapped up the day with a wonderful brunch at PKK Southern Cuisine with Adam and his beautiful family. Great food, great company, and great conversations!

Happy Sunday! I always LOVE Sundays for two reasons….1. I’m privileged to live in a country where I’m free to serve the Lord as I please and we do AND 2. I get to help individuals learn how to protect themselves and their families with private instruction! This Sunday was yet another blessing in both categories!
