What’s your favorite color?

Some places are so extraordinary they almost don’t feel real.

This estate in Sagaponack sits between Fairfield Pond and the Atlantic Ocean, with a private nine hole golf course woven through the front of the property.

But what stayed with us wasn’t the house.

As we walked the course, a few golf balls were hit. Conversations drifted from yardages to slopes to club selection. Standing on one of the most impressive residential properties in the country, we found ourselves talking about the same things golfers always talk about.

That’s the beauty of the game. No matter where you are, golf has a way of making everything else fade into the background.
