Your opinion was never part of the choreography.

After hearing the awful news about women being taken advantage of for so long, I felt like I needed to say something in class.

Heels class is more than learning choreography. It’s a space where we can take ownership of our bodies without asking anyone’s permission. A space where we can move without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to look a certain way.

So many of us have learned to disconnect from our bodies to get through what the world has put us through. Taking time to feel present in them again, on our own terms, matters.

I want us to keep creating spaces where we can let our guards down, support one another, and feel safe being fully ourselves. We deserve that. ❤️
