Hey everyone!! We have cooler weather!!! This week’s hike is Donut Falls. Please drive into the woods a little to where the road will turn into dirt and have some dips. There is a small parking lot to park the car and that is where we will meet. And this recently changed, but now that trail is $10 per car for 1-3 day pass that can be used in other parts of that canyon. It changed just last month. There are two ways to get to the falls. There is a bridge down and instead a tree trunk bridge that will be crossed just a little shorter distance round trip. Or stay on the dirt road, go the full 1.8 round trip and it’s so much easier. There is mild shade throughout. We will be walking in the creek bed just before arriving to the falls so please be prepared for wet feet. There is no swimming or playing in the water in this canyon.
Guess what season it is!!!! We are so excited to start this season! The boys had fun and are so talented!! Time for fun practices to keep improving!

Tomorrow morning!!! We will hike Bells Canyon lower falls trail. We will not be going to the falls but instead the lake/reservoir that’s there. A lot of ducks like to hangout there. We will meet at the trailhead and start at 9am and hike the 1.5 miles round trip round trip, which will take us about an hour. Depending on how long we hangout by the lake for a break, it may be longer. It will get hot quick. Dress appropriately and wear shoes you don’t care to get wet or at least bring a towel to dry your feet off before putting your shoes back on.
