Step into character! 🎭 ACTING IS BELIEVING (ages 8-14) an 8-week class that every actor needs. You will expand your imagination via theatre games and improvisation. Using your body and voice are all part of this amazing journey! We will take a deep dive into: “How to create a believable character.” Great for stage and film actors & students who wish to step up their presentations! 🎬🌟

WE’RE HIRING‼️ Join the City of El Segundo Recreation, Parks & Library team! We’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable Recreation Leaders and Senior Recreation Leaders to support our recreation programs and activities.

Recreation Leaders: We’re especially interested in candidates with experience or an interest in youth sports, including basketball, with opportunities for coaching and scorekeeping.

Senior Recreation Leaders: We’re especially interested in candidates with experience or an interest in front desk customer service and youth basketball.

Both positions are part-time and offer the opportunity to help create fun, engaging, and positive experiences for our community. If you enjoy working with the community and staying active, we’d love to have you on the team!

Kindness in action with Camp LIT🔥💙 Through our Sips for Kindness fundraiser earlier this summer, Camp LIT raised funds to create hygiene kits for PATCHES. Campers helped identify and collect the most essential items, putting together 24 hygiene kits and donating 30 t-shirts to support those in need.

We’re proud of our Camp LIT campers for turning kindness into action and making a difference in our community! We hope to continue this effort and support even more local outreach organizations in the future.

We’re throwing it back to the 80s!💖🎥 Join us for Sunset Cinema featuring Pretty in Pink on Saturday, September 19. Activities begin at 6:30pm, followed by the movie at sunset.

Get ready to sing, dance, and jam with Miss Holly! 🎶☀️ Music with Miss Holly is a 45-minute parent-and-me music class for little ones ages 0-4 and their caregivers. Children will explore sound, rhythm, and movement through sing-alongs, instruments, dancing, and sensory play, all under the shady trees of Recreation Park. Grandparents, nannies, and other caregivers are welcome to join the fun!
