Two new Specialized Crux 5 builds looking pretty good at Cadence Cyclery Encinitas.

Specialized went all in on the new Crux, bringing Tarmac-inspired aerodynamics to an already incredibly light gravel race platform. The result? A claimed 15.2-watt aero improvement over the previous generation, sharper handling, and room for tires up to 2.2 inches.

These two are dressed in SRAM RED XPLR, deep Roval carbon wheels, and Specialized Pathfinder tires. Fast on the open gravel, confident when things get rough, and pretty easy on the eyes.

Heads up! We’re moving this month’s Thug Ride up a week since the Quick n Dirty Filthy 50 is taking over the last Saturday of October.

Join us Saturday, October 24th, for another solid morning of riding bikes, climbing hills, and hanging out with the North County cycling community.

Some assembly required.

The new S-Works Epic 9 frame and fork just landed at Cadence, and this one is going to make for a pretty serious XC race build.

Specialized took its already World Cup-winning Epic platform and pushed it even further. 206 grams lighter, 11% less suspension friction, and refined suspension kinematics designed to turn more of your effort into speed.

Add the RockShox SID Ultimate fork and Flight Attendant suspension technology, and you’ve got a pretty incredible starting point.

Now comes the fun part. Picking the components and putting it all together.

**Coffee in style.**

This classic **Colnago Master** steel road bike stopped by Cadence, and we had to grab a few photos.

Traditional lugged steel construction, iconic Colnago details, Campagnolo components, and a set of deep carbon wheels bringing a little modern flavor to an old-school Italian classic.

A beautiful combination of cycling history and modern equipment.
