NCA Choreography - Brian Cao

Though my choreography season had originally come to a close in mid-January, I was pleasantly surprised with a request earlier this month to work with a team out of Arkansas! I feel so blessed that the request came from this incredible program! Coach Krystal, thank you so much for the opportunity to work with your fantastic guys and gals! This team absolutely crushed the last two days of choreography, learning their entire competition routine for NCA Collegiate Nationals in April! Don’t let the timeline fool you, because these athletes came ready to work, and I can’t wait to see how they progress in their journey to Daytona! Best of luck in the weeks ahead, my friends! So proud of all of you!

With the exception of some follow-ups and critiques with teams I’ve worked with, my 2025-2026 choreography season comes to an end, and I am SO grateful to have concluded it with this amazing program!! Coaches Kelli, Cassie, Jaden, & Caesar - THANK YOU!! I feel honored to have returned to Erie to create your Game Day Routine for NCA College Nationals, and can’t wait to see this all come together beautifully over the next few months! These athletes were such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for 2 amazing days, Gannon Competitive Cheer & Dance! Let’s rock the mat, Knights!

New year, new traditions! Thank you to Coaches Heather & Katherine for bringing me back up to Alaska’s SE Peninsula and trusting me to work with your amazing Wolves! I look forward to this trip each year and am so proud of how hard these ladies worked and excelled over these last two days! Can’t wait to see you all continue to progress and take the floor for Regions and State! Let’s GOOOOOO!!

My annual winter excursion to Hood River turned into success!! This army of 5 absolutely smashed it over these last two days! I couldn’t be prouder of their work ethic, their hunger and their incredible attitudes!! Thank you to my dear friend, Coach Lisa, for trusting me each year with your team and your competition routine! Eagles, soar high! Y’all are going to rock it on the floor!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And yes, the holidays are right around the corner, but I’m referring to my 5th annual choreography session with the incredibly talented Bird Gang of UNF! I’m literally taken back every year with the grit, fight and drive of this program, and love my time with these athletes! Though this year looks a little different, I’m so blessed that was able to travel from Hawaii to join me for this week with her team, and to see return to her alma mater in a coaching role! These last two days have been inspiring, and I can’t wait to see y’all again in January! Thank you, Ospreys, for working so hard! Go fill those bellies with all that Thanksgiving goodness this week, because it’ll time to get back to it when you return!!

I am in such awe of this program! Hawks, you absolutely smashed it today! Thank you so much for the opportunity to return to Philly to work with you all again for a second year on your Spirit Rally routine! This SJU coaching crew is absolutely fantastic, and these girls are so lucky to have such dedicated people invested in them! These athletes brought it all to the mat today, and I’m thrilled with how their routine turned out!Ladies, go crush it this season and go for Gold in Daytona! Can’t wait to see all the progress in the next few months, and I hope you all have an amazing holiday ahead!

The last 3 evenings with the Vulcans have been absolute FIRE! These ladies have upgraded their skills and I am so proud of their hard work this week! Thank you Coaches Mazie and Krissie for having me back to Cal U to create your Nationals routine, and to all these stellar athletes for dedicating their nights to learning the choreography! Can’t wait to see you all bring the heat in Daytona!

What an honor it’s been to come back up to the Northwest and work with a program that I haven’t had the opportunity to choreograph for in nearly 2 decades! The last two days with these athletes and coaches have been so joyful, and I’ve loved every minute! Thank you to Coaches Mandy and Trini for having me up to work with your fantastic cheerleaders! These girls were dialed in from the first minute, and I am so excited about the skills that they’ve acquired, and for them to show this routine off in the upcoming months! So proud of you, Rams! Can’t wait to see all your progress!

My Alaskan adventure comes to a close with a wonderful day up in the Valley with these two teams! Thank you so very much to the Owners & Coachee of this incredible program for having me back up, and to the athletes for working so hard, being so fun to work with, and bringing their dances to life! It’s always such an honor to be able to travel up here and work with Alaska Athletics, and I wish you all the best with your season! Can’t wait to see your routines shine on the competition floor!

My first day back in the Land of the Midnight Sun was amazing! Thank you to Leon & Tehmi for having me back up to Alaska to work with these awesome kiddos! Coaches Dannielle, Madi, Alexis & Tessa, thank you for an incredible day at the Anchorage Gym with Storm & Angels! These teams crushed it with their dance choreography and I am so excited to see them show it off this season!

The last three evenings have been such a pleasure in getting to work with these amazing athletes and coaches! Thank you to Coaches Claire & G for inviting me out to Troutdale to work with your Raiders!! It’s been about 13 years since I last stepped into Reynolds High, and I loved getting to come back and deliver a Traditional Routine to these new crew! Can’t wait to see you all take it to the high seas and make the competitors walk the plank!! Go Raiders!
