Here is a very special staff Monday on a Thursday!
Nico has been with us for 5 years and was our first “real” employee! He went from sweeping the floors to learning suspension work to basically running the shop every summer.
When he’s not at work he’s off adventuring in the woods, getting dragged behind various vehicles on various pieces of furniture, and throwing himself down mountains on anything with wheels or edges.
After 5 years, our boy Nico is headed back to college and it might be for the last time! Bittersweet doesn’t even cover it. We’re stoked to watch him grow up but sad as hell to see him go.
Nico, if this really is it, remember all the advice we can’t type here, like “grease the h…” nevermind. You get it! You’ll always have a home at OMG, bud. We love you and thank you for everything over the years.❤️
2 more chances to catch Nico and tell him good luck and give your own advice. Today and tomorrow. Have at him friends!

Evergreen, thank you for naming Outbound Mountain Gear the “Best of the Best.” We’re honored beyond words. This community is why we do what we do, and being your go to shop for bikes, skis, gear, service, and adventure is something we never take for granted.
From day one, our goal has been simple: give you real answers, real service, and real gear knowledge. No attitude, no ego, just people who love the mountains as much as you do.
So thank you, Evergreen. For trusting us with your gear, your questions, and your next adventure. Here’s to many more miles and turns together. 🏔️🚵♂️⛷

A great trip that ended shorter than what we wanted due to a big ol’ storm but it’s always ok to bail when things are not right. See you next year Mount Rainier!

Greetings! It is meet the staff Monday and this is Stephen! Stephen is a suspension Jedi Master and came to us about a year ago. He has been working and playing bikes his entire life and is a pretty rippin skier as well. When not at OMG Stephen has a “real” job, coaches mountain biking and may also be found entering mountain bike races or free ride ski competitions. Aside from all the GNAR, he is also a pretty swell guy, come say “HI” to Stephen, bring him the peanut butter ice cream from next door and he may become your best friend!
