Leading Kathak Dance School of Metro DC area founded by Mrs. Purvi Bhatt. Affiliated with Bharati Vi Under the expert tutelage of Mrs.

Lasya Dance Academy came into being with a vision to make traditional Indian dance more accessible to audiences within and outside the United States. Purvi Bhatt and her Guru Mrs. Maneesha Sathe, budding talent is nurtured, their skills carefully honed and learning dance is made into an enjoyable experience. For dance aficionados, dance workshops are also conducted at various educational and community centers.

It was an incredible honor to be included in such a distinguished line-up of Kathak artists from around the globe, each showcasing their own vibrant style and energy. We were especially grateful for the chance to perform in front of renowned exponents like Sanjukta Sinha and Padma Shri Dr. Shovana Narayanji.
