Northern Virginia Senior Softball

Yesterday morning, 22 new members (rookies!) along with four returning players were assessed. Led by Larry Lee, Weesie DiCaprio, and Don Weinheimer and backed by the critical support of more than a dozen volunteers, the rookies were assigned as follows: 4 American, 11 Continental, and 7 National.

Weather permitting, we'll be assessing another batch of newbies and oldies next Friday, March 27. Team assignments will be being the following week.

NEW EVENT! Members are invited to D-BAT Manassas’ Open House TOMORROW on March 15, Sunday, from 10am to noon. D-BAT (9555 Discovery Blvd) is a state-of-the-art premier training facility for baseball, softball, and slow-pitch players. The 12,000 square foot facility offers 10 total cages, 3 automatic slow-pitching machines, and pitching lanes.

Members will have full access to the entire facility for 2 hours before it is opened to the public. No need to sign up, just show up. Don’t forget your bat!
