Our Youth/Teen End of Year Showcase is today! 💫

We are so excited to celebrate the hard work of all our BalletNova Enrichment Program dancers and teachers!

We have two performances today, June 7th at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM

Performances will be at BalletNova’s Fredgren Theater
Tickets are free and seating is General Admission. Spotlight on Paquita! 🪭

Set in Spain to the vibrant score of Ludwig Minkus, Paquita showcases a dazzling display of technique, style, and invigorating dynamics. We are delighted to present excerpts of this Latin-styled classic, including an array of high-energy variations and a virtuosic Pas de Trois!

Paquita will be performed alongside La Fille Mal Gardée and the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet.

Only two weeks away from a chance to meet this delightful cast of characters! Matthew Powell’s La Fille Mal Gardée is a comedic ballet filled with charming characters, mischief and heart. Come follow the free-spirited Lise as she outwits her well-meaning but watchful mother in pursuit of true love, all set in a sunny countryside bursting with ribbons, maypoles, and playful surprises. Complete with colorful characters, lively music, and cheeky chickens, La Fille Mal Gardée is sure to bring smiles and laughter to the whole family!

La Fille Mal Gardée will be performed along with excerpts from Paquita and the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet.

💫 For the youngest aspiring dancers, our Angelina Ballerina Workshop begins this weekend!

🩰 Join the fabulous Colleen Buck for a four-week workshop inspired by the timeless enchantment of Angelina Ballerina! This workshop is for ages 4-7, with no prior dance experience needed. Classes are once a week on Sundays from 12:00-1:00, and will include crafts, stories, and of course, dance!
