Congratulations to Garrett Morrison, who made a Hole in One on the Par 3- 3rd hole during the qualifier for the GAM Championship at Michaywe Pines today. He used a 9 iron from 152 yards.

Congratulations to University of Detroit Mercy teammates Sadie Kondel and Morgan Jones on capturing the 16th GAM Women’s Four-Ball Championship title after a playoff with Stetson University teammates Bridget Butler and Elizabeth Eberle. Both teams posted a 2 day total of 11 under par 133!

Capturing the Senior Division again with a 2 day total of Even Par 144 is the team of Lori Schlicher and Donna Tepper!

In the Senior Net Division Championship Flight, Debra Horning and Lori Rogers repeat as champions! In the Murray flight, Amy Patton and Jamie Coselman won after a scorecard playoff.

Congratulations to Lori Rogers who made a Hole in One on the Par 3 9th hole during the final round of the GAM Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Washtenaw GC. She used an 11 wood l from 131 yards.

Congratulations to Clarkston’s Isabella Gimenez de Garcia, who shot a 3 over par 74 at the Portage CC Local Qualifier yesterday to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur!

The 2026 US Women’s Mid-Amateur will be held August 29-September 3 at Montclair GC in West Orange, NJ.

Exciting day at Barton Hills CC for the US Senior Women’s Open Media Day. Great hearing from US Senior Women’s Open Championship Director, Laura Martinson, NBC’s Lead US Open Announcer and Barton Hills Member Mike Tirico along with fellow member and player Suzy Green Roebuck and MSU Women’s Coach and player Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll previewing the championship.

Thank you to the United States Golf Association and the Barton Hills Championship Committee for including the GAM in a beautiful day. We are looking forward to having another great USGA Championship in our home state.

Congratulations to Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll, who shot a 1 over 73 to take medalist honors at the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Qualifier at Spring Meadows CC today. Pentwater’s Julie Massa and Linden’s Donna Benford also qualified after shooting 2 over 74s.

The 2026 US Senior Women’s Amateur will be held September 26 - October 1 at Portland GC in Portland, Ore.

Congratulations to David Fisher on advancing to the U.S. Senior Amateur at Baltimore CC (East Course) in Lutherville, MD, August 29-September 3, 2026 after yesterday’s Local Qualifier at Sycamore Hills in Ft Wayne, In. Fisher posted a 1 over par 73 and then advanced after a 3 person playoff.
