Westwoods is OPEN and allowing carts today! 🚗⛳

Well folks… somebody forgot to tell summer to stick around! 😂 It’s definitely feeling like fall this morning, so if you’re heading out for an early or evening round, you’re going to want to layer up!

🧥 NEW SWEATSHIRTS ARE IN THE PRO SHOP!
They’re warm, ridiculously soft on the inside, and just what the golf doctor ordered for these cooler days. Come check them out!

👏 And a HUGE shoutout to our Grounds Crew! Yesterday’s aeration went smoothly, and the greens are already well on their way to healing. They put in the work so we can keep the course in great shape!

So grab your clubs, grab a sweatshirt, and come get a round in! ⛳🍂

⛳️ AERATION DAY AT WESTWOODS! 🌱

We’re aerating the greens today, which means we have temporary greens set up for you to use while we give the regular greens some much-needed TLC. 💚

BUT WE ARE OPEN & ALLOWING CARTS! 🚗💨
And with a high of 70° and NO humidity, this sounds like a pretty darn PERFECT day for golf! 😎🏌️‍♂️

Come on down, enjoy the weather, and help us put those temporary greens to good use! ⛳️😂

Green aeration is happening Monday, 9/14! ⛳🌱

We apologize for the temporary disruption and any inconvenience while this important maintenance is completed. Aeration may leave the greens a little rough in the short term, but it helps relieve compaction, strengthen roots, and improve the putting surfaces moving forward.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we invest in healthier, better greens at Westwoods! ⛳

Westwoods Friends & Families, ❤️

We need to take a moment to share a friendly reminder regarding our driving range.

We kindly ask everyone using the range to please refrain from hitting your own golf balls onto the range.

This request is not about the cost of range balls. Our primary concern is the safety of the homes and residents located behind the driving range. Golf balls can travel much farther than expected, and an errant ball can pose a serious risk of injury or property damage.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to help us keep the range—and our neighbors—safe. 🏡⛳

As a friendly reminder, if you are found hitting non-range golf balls, you will be asked to leave the facility. We hope this will never be necessary, and we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

⛳ HELP STEVE & EDDY MAKE SOME BIRDIES FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 🐦❤️

Steve and Eddy are teaming up for Birdies Fore Brighter Futures, a one-day fundraising event hosted by the Connecticut Section PGA — and they’re looking for sponsors!

The challenge? 36 holes. As many birdies as possible. 🐦🐦🐦

Golf professionals from across Connecticut will be pairing up and battling their way through 36 holes, with sponsors able to make pledges per birdie or simply make a straight donation.

And best of all, your support goes toward a great cause! ❤️ Proceeds benefit the Connecticut Section PGA Foundation, with a portion supporting the Connecticut Children’s Foundation.
