This is a really hard post to make, but Eddy's race is run. Turns out his little body was riddled with cancer, and he passed away on Sunday, a month from his fourth birthday. I'm just thankful that we got to go on one more big adventure together. Late October/early November we did our annual steelhead trip and set a new personal best, 21 days in the wilderness! Eddy loved it, played a lot of frisbee, barked at a few steelhead, as well as plenty of bighorn sheep and mule deer! The steelhead pic with Uncle Randy was Eddy's last fish he "helped" land. If it had to be his last, he picked a good one, a big native hen. Rest in peace little buddy. You were a great shop dog, boat dog, fishing buddy, travel companion and just all around adventure dog. I'll see you on the river again someday soon, sweet boy.

What do you do when all the rivers are blown out? You call Daniel from and get after some lake fish! We caught seven species in total: schoolie striper, white bass, yellow bass, smallmouth, largemouth, crappie and walleye!
