📣 Let's give it up for the 6u Diamond Divas 📣

These girls may be tiny but they are fierce!

From "one day" to "we did it!" These girls earned a win against a team they've been chasing all season. Their hard work, hustle, and belief in each other paid off. Couldn't be prouder of this group! 💜🤍

Special shout out to their coach, Marissa, who stepped up to lead the team without even having a child on the team herself. She is the definition of selfless and we appreciate her and the other coaches for their hard work!

At 12, your child is still developing.

Don’t let exit velo, throwing velocity, or performance results become the measure of their worth.

Let them enjoy the game, develop their skills, and grow at their own pace.

Where do I begin when it comes to our 8u Bandits team? This team is the definition of devoted. From Coach Raul to their pitcher, Travis, to their parents and their fan base - this team and their possee show up! Coach is always texting and trying to find extra field time to get more pracrice in. All while coaching his softball team, as well.

This team is another team that we thought may not have enough kids this season, but boy are we glad they did!! It goes to show that if you keep on pushing for greatness, setting high expectations, and holding kids to those standards that hard work pays off.

They finished the season off 2nd in their division which is excellent considering their competition.

I am so proud of our Bandits team!! ❤️⚾️🖤

Shout out to the 6u Lil Jackets! During registration we had a handful of kids who REALLY wanted to play baseball. It looked like it wasnt going to happen, but then player after player signed up. We ended up with more kids than we typically put on a team. 😅

These 5 & 6 year olds juggled baseball practices on top of football and showed up ready to put in work.

Congrats to our 6u Lil Jackets for placing 1st this season. 👏

You said you wanted pictures this fall, so we made it happen!

Come by either day during the posted timeframe for pictures. It should be a quick process. No purchase required. You will receive proofs via email and can review prior to purchasing.

Players should bring whatever they want to use in photos as props. Examples include:
- Bat
- Glove
- Catcher's gear

Check with your baseball team to see if hats will be worn for team picture so all players are aligned.

Please be respectful of everyone's time and have your child ready when it is your turn. If your child doesn't cooperate with photographer, you will be asked to step out of line to keep things moving along. They can, of course, return when they are ready to show off their smile!

First Baptist has been kind enough to allow us to use their facility, so please no food or drinks inside the building. Also keep an eye on children so they arent jumping on furniture or getting on the stage.

Can't wait to see everyone!

Another week of ball for the players of Ferris Recreational Sports. With each week that passes, the players become more confident in themselves and unlock new skills. For some that means getting their very first hit off of the coach and for others it is making a diving catch for an out then tagging a runner for a double play. Between the snack runs to concessions and loud air horns mixed with all the walk up jams, we wouldn’t trade game night for anything!

Yesterday we had Ferris Lady Jackets Rogers and Ferris Honey Badgers playing against each other. What I love about a Ferris vs Ferris game is being able to cheer for both sides. Pitcher throws a strike? Way to go! Batter hits a bomb? Heck yes!

We also had 2 new softball blues and they did pretty good! We appreciate our high school boys working at the fields!

Over in Cedar Hill our 6u Bandidas did their thing and dominated on the field.

Overall great evening for FRS!
