🏀 We’re Back! 🏀

Our Lady Mavs Foundational Skills Camp has been rescheduled for July 20–21, and we’re excited to finally get this opportunity to work with the next generation of Lady Mavs!

Due to scheduling conflicts with other camps earlier this summer, we had to postpone our original June camp. The good news? We’ve restructured the camp to make it even more affordable for families.

📍 The Barn – Southside Arena

Throughout the two days, campers will develop:

🎯 Shooting
💪 Finishing
🛡️ Defense
🏆 Fun Competitions

Whether your daughter is just starting basketball or already loves the game, our goal is to help every camper build a strong basketball foundation while having fun and growing in confidence.

That’s a wrap on our Middle School Summer Skills Camp! 🏀

We had an outstanding week with 50 young ladies who brought great effort, energy, and enthusiasm every day. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this camp a success.

Congratulations to our camp champions for their hard work and competitive spirit throughout the week!

A special thank you goes to Coach Watson, Coach James, Coach Smothers, Coach Candelaria, and Coach Skelton for investing their time and energy into our campers. We are also incredibly grateful to our high school athletes and former players who volunteered throughout the week. Your willingness to give back to the program and serve as role models for the next generation is what makes our basketball family so special.

We’re already looking forward to seeing our elementary campers in July. The future is bright!

Old Fort Days 93rd Annual Rodeo Flag Team

My name is Julia Skulman, this is my second year riding on the Old Fort Days Rodeo Flag Team, and I couldn’t be more excited! I love everything about Old Fort Days—the energy, the tradition, and the competition.
I play varsity and travel basketball and will be a sophomore at Southside High School this fall. When I’m not on the court, you’ll find me at the barn—training, tuning up, and competing. Barrel racing is my favorite, and I love being part of rodeos.
One of the best parts of carrying flags is getting to meet rodeo athletes I really look up to, like Fallon Taylor (she’s so nice!), Hailey Kinsel, and Tricia Aldridge
