Tonight is our make up Meet-up. We will use Redwood Inns patio since it is a gorgeous day!! Starts at 6:00 but come anytime.

It is a great honor to be invited to such a special occasion! Marci and Thelma both lost their boys to su***de. Scott & Bobby received plaques on the Memorial wall. Thank you!!!!!

RemedyLIVE is a Fort Wayne–based nonprofit focused on mental health, su***de prevention, and helping people talk openly about difficult or “secret” struggles. 

A few facts about Remedy Live that I got off the internet—

• They operate a 24/7 confidential chat service staffed by trained people they call SoulMedics. You can text 494949 to connect with them. 
• They work with schools, including their Get Schooled Tour, which uses anonymous interactive polling and discussion to get students talking about anxiety, depression, su***de, relationships, and other struggles.
• They also have programs for adults/workplaces, including the Wired Experience. 
• They are not a counseling practice or an EAP. Their role is more about conversation, support, mental-health awareness and connecting someone with professional help when appropriate. 
• They do have Christian/faith-based roots. Some of their materials describe their mission in explicitly Christian terms, although their public-facing mental-health programs are aimed at helping people talk about what they’re going through.

We will not have our normal scheduled meet up tonight. Those of us that signed up are going to a fundraiser dinner. We will have our make up meet up- next Monday 🫶

Please please please do not put anything in the pantry that belongs in a refrigerator or freezer! The clean up falls directly on us and we really want to keep this pantry here.

We had Prom with the moms and what a time was had!! Some of us showed up in full prom, some in our Sunday best, and I was in my work clothes 🤣 we danced, we laughed, and we ate until we couldn’t eat anymore!!

So many women tell me “I have been told by so many ppl about your group, I want to come, but I am not ready yet”

We understand you’re unsure what you will walk in to. And the truth is- we are a room of women who fully understand. We build life long friendships and we do life together 💕💕 So when you’re ready, we will be here!!
