Continue to support our local farms!!

An Update from Our Farm ❤️

For those who have followed our journey over the years, you know that one of my biggest dreams since starting the farm in 2009 has been to build a store of our own. Five years ago, I took a big step toward making that dream a reality by building our produce stand along Highway 25, near the farm. My hope was to continue growing it year after year, and each season showed us that the dream was possible.

Unfortunately, after four years of being promised the opportunity to purchase an acre of land from the original owners, the property was sold to someone else last week. As a result, we had to sell our stand and the stand on highway 25 will be no longer.

This has been an emotional and difficult experience. The stand represents so much more than a place to sell our produce. It represents years of hard work, dedication, growth, and a dream I have worked toward for a very long time. This change affects not only my livelihood, but also the wonderful people who have helped us along the way and the community that has supported us so faithfully.

To everyone who has stopped by, purchased our produce, encouraged us, and supported our farm over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant more than you know, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Although this chapter is coming to a close, we are not giving up on the dream. We plan to sell produce directly from the farm next year, and we remain hopeful that we will find the right opportunity to open another store in the future.

We will keep you updated as we move forward, and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring.

This has been a tough season on the farm.

We have pivoted and made some necessary changes along the way.

Unfortunately one of the changes we are making is to cancel all events at the farm.

We encourage all of our customers to continue to support our local vendors. There are LOTS of fall and holiday markets coming up.
Please shop local.
Support small businesses.

Yesterday, we shared about the theft from our roadside market, and we have been truly overwhelmed by the number of people who reached out, commented, shared our post, and offered words of encouragement. Thank you. ❤️

Today, we want to turn the focus to something positive — supporting the incredible local vendors who have stocked our market and trusted us with their products.

These are small businesses, bakers, makers, and families in our community. When you purchase from them, share their page, recommend them to a friend, or stop by one of their markets, you are supporting a real person and a real dream.

Here are some of the wonderful vendors who regularly stocked our roadside market:

What happened yesterday was disappointing, but the response from our community reminded us that there is still SO MUCH GOOD here.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Our roadside Honor Market will no longer carry products from local vendors.

Over the past several months, we’ve had items stolen repeatedly. Today, we came in to find HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in merchandise gone—including artwork and products placed there by local vendors.

We can no longer ask our friends and local business owners to trust us with their products while they continue to lose substantial amounts of money to theft.

Honestly, we’re devastated.

Not because we expect everyone to be perfect, but because we believed an Honor Market represented something bigger—a return to a time when neighbors respected one another, supported local businesses, and did the right thing when no one was watching.

We’ve always said: If you need food, please tell us. We will feed you. We still mean that. Our commitment to kindness and giving back isn’t changing.

But today, we have to draw a line—not because we’ve stopped caring, but because we can no longer stand by and watch our local friends get taken advantage of.

Maybe the saddest part is that we thought an Honor Market would remind us of who we could be as a community. Today, we were reminded of how far we still have to go.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Honor Market and, most importantly, our local vendors.

So many reasons to come to our Summer Artisan and Farmers Market on Saturday Aug 22, but here’s one more reason you don’t want to miss!

We are raffling off 10 Meishan hogs! 🐖

But we know how important it is to know where your food comes from.

Here’s the rules…

🐷Come to our table @ the Summer Artisan and Farmers Market;
🐷Buy a raffle ticket, 🎟️ $10;
🐷We will notify you on Monday 8/24 if you are a winner.
🐷Tickets are non-refundable.
🐷Tickets may be transferred to a friend or family member if you win.
🐷Winners are responsible for paying all processing fees. We can provide luxury transportation to the processor but the winner must pick up at their location.

Shop from 30 + local farmers & artisans, grab some lunch from the food truck, sip on a dirty soda, & let the kiddos loose in the kids zone. (but please keep an eye on them)
