LIV Golf has officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as it reorganizes after losing Saudi PIF funding. The league has entered a restructuring support agreement with BC Partners, who will serve as the plan sponsor. Jon Rahm is the top unsecured creditor at over $7.4 million, followed by Bryson DeChambeau at over $5.7 million. The Saudi PIF will provide nearly $50 million in financing subject to court approval. The proposed restructuring would give minority ownership of the league to its players.
