Back in the day of horse-drawn carriages, buggies, sleighs, wagons and even open-air automobiles, horse hide lap robes kept people warm, cozy and dry (circa late 1700s to mid-1900s). This exceptional example is felt and wool lined, has the original label and is Fall & Winter weather ready. This useful treasure is most likely from the Dubuque Tanning & Robe Co., Ohio. For sale at $295 (cash or credit), local pick-up or delivery.
