Thank you to our students and families for joining us for our Adopt a Grandparent event. It was a joy to watch you share your skills with the residents at Lifestream North Phoenix.

We hope that all students and their families can join us tonight for our "Adopt a Grandparent" event at Lifestream North Phoenix. The facility is located at 20802 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. We ask that all students wear full uniforms and arrive by 4:45pm to prepare for our demonstration set to get started right at 5pm.

At Keene's ATA we teach the principle of working hard to earn positive results but also about doing kind deeds for others. We're excited to announce we are once again offering our annual Adopt A Grandparent Gift and Coloring Contest.

Students have been tasked with decorating gift bags with 3 Divisions for Prizes. Tigers, Karate For Kids and Adults. All Tigers and Karate For Kids will also earn a RED star for participating. Deadline submission is Thursday, December 15.

Students can also earn a RED star for donating $20 for the gifts. All donations are tax deductible. Checks should be made payable to LEAD Tomorrow, Inc. or bring cash to the front desk.

On Wednesday, December 21, students will do a demonstration for residents and present gifts to residents of Lifestream Assisted Living. Students who participate in the Demo will also earn a RED star for their victory patch.

• A 2019 one-day snapshot found that Arizona domestic violence programs served 1,539 on that day.3
• There were 96 domestic violence-related deaths in Arizona in 2019.

Parents and students: We are open regular schedule Monday-Wednesday of this week. We will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Day began with classes in the park and then we presented his new Uniform with his new title on the back. Our parents purchased for Master Jaucian a uniform and belt as a Congratulatory gift!

Some still train and some have moved on to other pursuits,, but they'll always be Keenes Kids and a part of our hearts. Everyone one of them received their Black Belt. Thank you all for spending part of your day with us to celebrate our 255y Anniversary of being in business and Master Jaucian becoming a Master!

It was so great to celebrate with both former students and newer ones the completion of our 25th year of business with a picnic in the park.

Thank you to our veterans for your service and sacrifices.

The final days of mastership training for our newest ATA Arizona Master's training began with a sunrise hike. Pictured with Master Nominees Seg Jaucian and John Patiel are Arizona's very own, Chief Master Michelle Landgren Lee, and a Grandmaster of the ATA Soon Ho Lee.

Congratulations to all of the new Masters, Senior Master and Chief Masters. Your Dedication and Perseverance are an inspiration.

It is with great pride and joy that we announce that Master Nominee Jaucian will be dubbed by Grand Master M.K. Lee as MASTER Seg Jaucian. We hope you all will watch the Masters' Ceremony, on Saturday, November 4 at 4:00 PM Arizona Time.

Parents, don't forget to wear your Halloween costume. Yhe Best Costume winner will win a great prize!

It truly takes a village to run a successful tournament, and our village is the best! Our parents and student leaders worked by prepping for the regional event in setting up, judging, score keeping, helping at registration and making the day run smoothly. After a very long day of competition you even stayed and packed and then unloaded the truck with the mats.

It is with the upmost gratitude that Sr. Master and Mrs. Keene want to simply say, THANK YOU!

Congratulations to Mr. Jeremy Dreher on being selected as a recipient of the HULF (H U Lee Foundation) Regional Scholarship. Mr. Dreher began training when he was 6 years old Keene's ATA Martial Arts

Arizona ATA School Owners raise funds for the foundation each year. Of the funds raised 75% stay within the region and are distributed to local ATA students who apply, and are selected, as winners. The remaining 25% of funds go towards National Scholarship winners.

Jessica Cox Chamberlin is a Black Belt in the ATA, a licensed pilot, and has many more accomplishments too numerousto name. What sets her apart is her positive mindset. You see, she was born without arms.

Her parents never said, "you can't do that" or made excuses to give her a reason not to try.
