"It fits many of our crop rotation needs and actually fits with a lot of farmers' current equipment that they use for small grains and other applications." In the latest Pioneer Agronomy Update, Pioneer Seeds Strategic Account Manager Tim Morman reports the number of Growing Degree Units is ahead of the long-term average. "The soybeans outside of some early wind damage are doing good." Regarding canola, Morman expects the crop to begin flowering within the next week.

For the second week in a row, the Red River Farm Network is excited to announce an addition to our team. Madyson Sears is in her first day on the job as a marketing specialist. Sears joins RRFN with a strong agricultural background and a passion for helping businesses connect with farmers and ranchers across the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest. A native of Minnewaukan, North Dakota, Sears is a graduate of North Dakota State University. At NDSU, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Agribusiness. Most recently, Sears was with Peterson Farms Seed.
