Aerial Performance by Eleanor Drews wsg Max Aulbach

Eleanor is back again this year along with her special guest, Max Aulbach. You can see their performances on Saturday at 12:00 PM and then again at 5:20 PM.

This will be Eleanor's fourth year performing at Smiling Acres Music Festival. Eleanor began training on aerial silks in 2019. Over the years, through her hard work and dedication, a truly gifted and unique aerial artist has emerged.

Max has been doing Aerial Silks for almost 10 years, starting with a college circus arts club at Kalamazoo College and taking classes in Grand Rapids after graduation. After training at studios in GR for a couple years, he began teaching aerial classes 4 years ago, with the last two spent at Grand Rapids Aerial Lounge where he currently teaches. Max focuses on teaching both beginner & higher level silks, with a focus on building strength and technique, while making sure everyone has fun while they do it. While not a frequent performer, he loves to coach students into doing their own routines first and foremost, but will perform on occasion when the inspiration strikes!
