Thanks to the City of Grand Rapids MN and City of Cohasset Parks & Rec Dept for their support of the North Country Trail Association and our local Arrowhead Chapter's efforts to develop and maintain our national hiking trail.
We had a great turnout yesterday at our Trail Town Celebration, and we are so thankful for the support of our towns. Pretty cool to have a national trail pass right We appreciate all that Cohasset Mayor Josh Casper, Chapter Leader Amanda MacDonnell, and Grand Rapids Mayor Tasha Connolly had to say about our partnership in seeing this project move from a road walk to a scenic pathway through some of our favorite spots, like Tioga beach.
To become a member and support this work, become a member, buy some swag, gift a donation to the Arrowhead Chapter, or volunteer to help maintain and build trail.

Yesterday (June 6) was National Trails Day, so members and friends of the Arrowhead Chapter went on a 5-mile hike starting at County Rd 61 heading south next to the Prairie River on the NCT. We enjoyed a beautiful morning, saw lots of yellow and pink ladyslippers and other flowers (which I didn't capture~) and had an amazing time!
Be sure to join us next month at our NCTA Trail Towns Celebration at Cohasset's Tioga Beach Park on Thursday, July 9th at 1pm for a short presentation followed by a hike. With questions, reach out to [email protected].
