Ehlert Racing

Ehlert Racing is a family based race team based out of central Missouri. Racing is our passion and we give 110% every race.

We just finished our 16th season in racing. I raced ministocks at Montgomery County Speedway for 3 years before moving up to a crate late model. After racing a crate for 4 years we went to a limited late model which we have ran for 9 years now
We are a family owned race team. The whole family and many of our friends help us out. We love racing and love to have fun.

2020 was a crazy year between starting a new job, moving, and then the pandemic, but we still managed to get a few races in. we are currently preparing for the 2021 race season during which we hope to compete in limited and super late model classes around missouri. We are currently looking for more marketing partners to help us out in the 2021 season. RIP Mike! Thank you for everything over the years! From tubing to transmissions, he helped racers all over.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Null. Mike was a fixture of the racing scene for many years and helped out a lot of people along the way. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family and friends.

Well, like several others we rode the struggle bus last night with the WoO Late Models in town. Just could not get the car to handle the way we wanted to. Just fought the car in the heat and B Main thinking we made the right changes. With the group that was in town, you cant be off at all to even have a small chance of making the show.
Keeping it home tonight to regroup and go through things to get ready for the next one.

No racing this weekend for us as pevely is not racing. Last weekend was rough, and we are working on getting the car back together after a lot of frint suspension damage in the feature.

On the bright side, I got to meet some awesome fans when I walked over to the front stretch before intermissionto see some friends! Got to talk to a lot of kids who hadn't been to a race before and they were having a blast! Glad i got to go over there and hope we can do that again!

Last night qualified 6th in our group so started 6th in the heat. Racing deal the first lap got us into the wall and bent a few things on the RF. Fortunately, we had a couple old friends that ended up being at the track last night. I cant thank Alec Rolwes and Rolwes enough for coming back and jumping in to help. They helped mom and dad with the spoiler that I tried to break off while I worked on the front. We got the lower replaced but then found the upper was bent as well and did not have a spare. We got it patched pack together to at least get out there to make laps in the consi to see how it was. We have a few things to check over and replace.

Can't thank Alec, Chase, Mom and Dad enough for busting their butts to get things back together the best we could. Thank you Randy for the lower, Daryn and Max for helping check the RF shock after the races.

We will be back at it in a couple weeks as Pevely does not race late models until after July 4th.
