Good morning, Golfers!

Due to excessive downed branches and limbs, along with additional debris that is still expected to fall, the golf course will be closed for play today. This closure will allow our staff to safely and efficiently clean up the course and restore safe playing conditions for everyone once we reopen.

We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding, patience, and flexibility.

Mid-Afternoon Course Update

Good afternoon, golfers!

Highland Hills will be closed for play tomorrow until 12:00 PM as our team works to assess storm damage and clear branches and debris from the recent snowfall. We’ll share any updates tomorrow morning as cleanup progresses.

Due to the significant moisture from the storm, all play tomorrow will be walking only.

If you had a morning tee time and would like to still play after we reopen, please give the pro shop a call- we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

1:00 PM Update from Highland Hills:

We’ve received a little less than 2 inches of snow so far today. Due to the moisture, the golf course will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Additionally, carts will not be available tomorrow, Saturday, April 18th, and all play will be walking only.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the condition and long-term quality of the course.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions, so here they are—our Junior Golf Clinic dates for this summer at Highland Hills and Boomerang Links!

We’ll be hosting four sessions at each course, and each age group is limited to the first 12 participants, so spots will fill quickly.

Registration is not open yet—it will go live next Monday, April 6th. Sign-ups will be online again this year, with a link available on the City website or through the website listed on our flyers.

We’re looking forward to another awesome summer and can’t wait to see all our junior golfers out on the course! ⛳️

Our first two hole-in-ones of 2026 both happened this week!

Shoutout to Jerry Trujillo, who aced Hole #17 on Monday for the first hole-in-one of the year. Then, just this morning during ladies league, Trish Brown matched it with an ace on Hole #17 as well—our second of the year!

Congratulations to both golfers on incredible shots! If you or someone in your group makes an ace while playing at Highland Hills, be sure to grab a picture and let the pro shop staff know so we can celebrate these amazing moments.

We’ve officially rolled out new merchandise on the floor! You’ll find a fresh lineup of shoes, hats, and unis*x logo shirts, logo pullovers, and logo hoodies.

We’re also excited to introduce new additions to the Highland Hills pro shop, including Municipal, Pins & Aces, and Odyssey putters.

And we’re not done yet—more merchandise is on the way, along with some limited drops, like our Masters Pins & Aces collection that we have in the shop now!

District 6 is excited to offer D6 Competitive Golf for grades 6, 7 & 8!
This is a great opportunity for students to learn the game, build skills, and compete in a fun, supportive environment.

📍 Open Gym: March 9, 11 & 13 @ McAuliffe
📅 Golf Season: March 23 – May 8
⏰ Practice Times: Monday–Thursday, 4:00–5:30 PM

✔️ Bring your own clubs if you have them (sets are available to check out for the season)
