Boulevard Bullyz CAR CLUB

We had the opportunity to take our cars to the Platte Valley Detention Center and spend some time with the youth who are currently serving time. The purpose of the event was to give them a glimpse of something different, have real conversations, motivate them, and most importantly, remind them that they are not alone and what’s possible beyond the walls they’re currently behind. We wanted to show them a little piece of life outside and let them know that their story doesn’t have to end where they are today.

And man… hearing that some of these young people are serving 34 years really hits differently. They are still kids with so much life ahead of them, and I truly hope the conversations we had today gave them even just a little hope, motivation, or something to think about.

Sometimes it’s not about what you can give someone, it’s about showing up, listening, sharing your story, and reminding them that they matter.
