Our fun photo contest is back this year! We hope that those of you who will be attending this year's National Specialty in-person will participate. We want you to channel your inner photojournalist and see your snapshots as the National Specialty unfolds. No fancy equipment or software is required; you can use your phone for your photo submissions. We'll be posting the photos that you submit to our Facebook and Instagram pages throughout the National Specialty. It's easy to enter the contest; please carefully review all of the rules below. We can't wait to see all of the photos you share with us - we'll see you in a few weeks!

The contest is open to all GRCA National Specialty attendees aged 18 and older.
๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ:
โข Submit your 2026 National Specialty photos via email to grcanationalspecialty[at]gmail[dot]com with the subject line โNational Specialty Photo Submission.โ
โข Each email can contain up to 3 photos.
โข There is no limit to the number of emails (i.e., photo batches) you may submit.

โข The contest begins at 12:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time on September 29, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Mountain Daylight Time on October 10, 2026.
โข Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

โข A leaderboard will be maintained and updated daily, reflecting the number of valid submissions received and accepted by GRCA as of the most recent update.
โข Submissions will be scored based on quantity and adherence to the contest rules.
โข The leaderboard will be posted on GRCAโs National Specialty Facebook and Instagram pages.

โข Only relevant, high-quality photos will be accepted. Inappropriate, offensive, or irrelevant submissions will be disqualified.
โข Photos that are wholly or substantially generated using artificial intelligence (AI) are not eligible.
โข Standard photographic edits such as cropping, exposure adjustment, and color correction are permitted provided the edits do not materially alter the content of the image.
โข Photos must be related to the 2026 GRCA National Specialty.
โข A โvalid submissionโ is a unique photograph. Duplicate or substantially similar images (including burst shots, near-identical photos, or multiple edits/crops of the same image) may be counted as a single submission at GRCAโs sole discretion.
โข All decisions regarding photo eligibility are at the sole discretion of GRCA.

โข The following prizes will be awarded based on the number of valid submissions at the end of the contest:
o The participant with the most valid submissions at the end of the contest will be declared the โFirst Place Winner.โ
o The participant with the second-most valid submissions at the end of the contest will be declared the โSecond Place Winner.โ
o The participant with the third-most valid submissions at the end of the contest will be declared the โThird Place Winner.โ
โข In addition to the three participants with the most valid submissions at the end of the contest, there will also be a โWild Card Winner.โ
o Each eligible participant who submits at least one valid photo to the 2026 National Specialty Photo Contest will automatically be entered into Wild Card Winner drawing.
o Each eligible participant will receive one entry into the Wild Card drawing regardless of the number of valid photos submitted.
o After the contest closes, the name of the Wild Card Winner will be selected using a random number generator tool.
โข The winners will be announced on October 12, 2026 and notified via email.
โข In the event of any tie affecting prize placement, a random drawing among the tied participants will determine the winner of the applicable prize.

โข The First Place Winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to the GRCA Store.
โข The Second Place Winner will receive a $75 gift certificate to the GRCA Store.
โข The Third Place Winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the GRCA Store.
โข The Wild Card Winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the GRCA Store.
โข All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

By submitting a photo, the participant represents and warrants that they are the original photographer or have all necessary rights to submit the image and grant the permissions described in these rules.
By submitting photos, participants grant GRCA a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the submitted photos in connection with GRCAโs marketing, social media, publications, website, and future promotional materials.

Any participant found to be violating these rules, or attempting to cheat or manipulate the leaderboard, will be disqualified.
GRCA reserves the right to remove or reject any submission that it determines violates these rules or is inconsistent with the organizationโs mission or values.
GRCA Board Members are permitted to submit their photos to the contest but are not eligible to win prizes.
Privacy and Data Collection: By participating, you consent to the collection of your name, email address, and any personal information necessary for the contestโs administration.
Liability: Golden Retriever Club of America is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or misdirected submissions, nor for any technical issues that may impede participation.
Right to Cancel or Modify: Golden Retriever Club of America reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
Indemnification: By participating, you agree to hold Golden Retriever Club of America harmless from any claims arising from your participation or submission of content.
If your entry infringes on the intellectual property of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of GRCA. You shall indemnify and hold harmless GRCA from any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, or damage which GRCA may incur arising out of infringement or suspected infringement of any third partyโs right.
The GRCA 2026 National Specialty Photo contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
