In 16 years, close to 100 former Drive players have gone on to play in the Major Leagues. 8 Drive alums were on the 2018 World Series Champion Red Sox - AL MVP OF Mookie Betts, OF Andrew Benintendi, SS Xander Bogaerts, OF Jackie Bradley Jr, 3B Rafael Devers, C Christian Vazquez, P Matt Barnes, and C Blake Swihart. A Drive Alum has been a member of 9 of the last 10 World Series Championship teams in Major League Baseball. The 2021 Atlanta Braves featured relief pitcher Chris Martin, who played for the Drive in 2011. In addition, 2B Dustin Pedroia, LHP Jon Lester and RHP John Smoltz have each made Major League rehab appearances for the Drive.

We've got so many fun activities planned, and we want to make sure all ghosts, goblins, and ghouls are ready for the festivities! 👻

Wildlife Geeks will be returning with all kinds of animals to show off at 4:30pm, 5:45pm, and 7:15pm🦎🐇

Bringing your furry friend? We'll have a dedicated Dog Zone in the Furman Picnic Area! Think your pup has what it takes? We've got TWO dog contests tonight: a Dog Trick Contest at 5:30pm and a Dog Costume Contest at 6:30pm! Both contests will be judged by our friends at Noble Dog Hotel 🐾

💜 Walk a Mile. Honor a Life. Make a Difference. 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, support survivors, remember lives tragically lost, and stand together against domestic violence.

Two years ago, former Greenville Drive front office member Samantha Bauer and her family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when Samantha's pregnant sister, Christa, was murdered as a result of domestic violence.

While no family should ever have to endure such a heartbreaking loss, Samantha and her family have turned their grief into a powerful mission of remembrance, awareness, and hope.

Throughout October, the Bauer Power Walk-a-Thon is bringing people together through a month-long campaign and fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence, supporting meaningful change, and honoring Christa's memory.

💜 This Saturday, October 17, we're encouraging the entire Drive family to walk one mile in Christa's honor and WEAR PURPLE — the color representing domestic violence awareness.

Whether you walk with family, friends, coworkers, or on your own, every step is an opportunity to remember Christa, support the Bauer family, and stand in solidarity with those impacted by domestic violence.

Our Greenville Drive family will always stand alongside Samantha and her family. We hope you'll join us in turning compassion into action and helping ensure Christa's memory continues to make a difference.
