25 years later and there are some days we just don’t forget

Today we’re thinking about the people who left home that morning and never came back. The families who said goodbye without knowing it would be the last time. The children who grew up without a parent. The first responders who walked into something unimaginable to help people they had never met.

So many lives changed in a matter of hours 🙏

Today we just want to remember them

The people
The families
The lives that mattered

Thinking of the people who are fighting battles no one else can see

🙏 The ones who are exhausted from trying to hold themselves together

🙏 The ones who have survived an attempt

🙏 The families and friends carrying the unimaginable weight of losing someone they love

🙏 The people who love someone who is struggling and don’t know what to say or how to help

Sometimes the pain gets very quiet

So check on your people
Pay attention when something feels different. Sit beside someone without trying to fix them. Remind them that their presence in this world matters 💝

And if you are the one struggling today, please tell someone…
Even if the only words you can find are “I’m not okay”

There is no shame in needing help and there’s no weakness in reaching for another human being 🙏

May we be a little more compassionate with one another today and every day. We truly never know what someone is carrying 💜🩵
