A Dream Realized. A Community That Made It Possible.

Two and a half years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to become the owner of Anjali Power Yoga. I stepped into this role with a dream – not only to continue building something meaningful within our community, but one day to own the building Anjali calls home.

I’m incredibly grateful to share that, within this past week, that dream became a reality.

But the truth is, this accomplishment isn’t mine alone.

It belongs to the Anjali community.

To every person who has walked through our doors, rolled out a mat, taken a class, shared a smile, pushed through something difficult, found stillness, or simply made Anjali part of their life – thank you.

Your commitment, dedication, trust, and belief in what we are building have made this possible. Anjali is so much more than four walls and a place to take a class. Anjali is community. It is a place where people come to move, breathe, grow, connect, and sometimes simply find a little peace in the middle of a busy world.

And to the incredible teachers – I am deeply grateful to you.

Thank you for showing up each day grounded, present, and as your true, authentic selves. You bring so much heart to this studio, and the energy you create in each class is a huge part of what makes Anjali special. You are not simply teaching classes; you are helping shape the experience and culture of this community.

As we enter this next chapter, I want to make one commitment very clear:

We will stay true to our roots.

Yoga is, and always will be, the foundation of Anjali.

We will continue to offer both Restorative and Power Yoga, honoring the full spectrum of what yoga can provide – strength and stillness, challenge and surrender, effort and ease.

We will compliment our yoga offerings with Barre and Sculpt, giving our community additional ways to move and strenghten their bodies.

But one thing will never change:

Anjali is a Yoga Studio. We will never be a gym – but rather an extension to our gym partners in the area.

Our purpose is bigger than workouts. It is about creating a space where movement becomes a pathway to connection, mindfulness

Books, Breath and Belonging
A Three-part Book Club & Community Workshop with Corinne Katz on Mondays 9/14, 9/28 & 10/12 at 7:30pm
Books, Breath & Belonging is a three-part book club experience designed to bring the Anjali community together through reading, reflection, and connection.

Participants will read Perfect Imperfect by Baron Baptiste between gatherings, then come together for thoughtful discussion, guided journaling, meditation, and personal reflection. Inspired by the spirit of our 40 Days experience, this workshop explores personal growth and the practice of yoga beyond the mat through curiosity, conversation, and community.

Whether you’re a longtime Anjali student or simply looking for a meaningful way to connect, come as you are. All you need is a willingness to read, reflect, and share.

Come read. Come reflect. Come connect. Come belong.

What does it really mean to come from a place of love, both on and off the mat? Join Alison Lubar for a 90-minute workshop to explore Ahimsa, the foundation of not only the Yamas & Niyamas, yoga’s ethical guidelines, but its meditative and vinyasa practices. We’ll use inquiry questions and discussion to consider how Ahimsa and its interpretations– love, compassion, nonviolence, and “meeting the needs of the moment”– show up in our thoughts, speech, and action, for ourselves and for our community. Then, we’ll flow together in sequences designed to open up our heart-space before an extended sound-bath-and-savasana. Join us for journaling, discussion, connection, Asana and sound bowls. $30 investment.
