I go back to the old space sometimes, just to lay on my massage table.

She is simply the best.

Made in Pennsylvania by Oakworks, one of the first Massage Table making companies, right here in the USA!

Infused with sacred space and angels gentle strength, I ask her to hold each of us when coming to this space 🙏🏻

Good news is, she moves into the new space this weekend! I know I am not the only one who has missed her!!

Your loyalty and confidence in me and TNW, inspires me and is why I love waking up and going to “work” everyday! I love seeing you and holding space for you, releasing, overcoming, celebrating!! I am here for all of it and thank you thank you thank you for holding me 🙏🏻 you are the community I always dreamed of being surrounded by and I am so blessed to know each of you!

What a ride.

The building I currently rent from is going to be closed for an unknown time. There was a small fire yesterday and noone was hurt. 🙏🏻 Seriously a miracle. And thanks to the quick action of our landlord and the fire department! Blessings.

Some of you know I have been searching and Spirit laid it on my heart some time ago to find the space that is calling to me. That search continues!

For now, I am happy to say services will resume as scheduled at a temporary location inside Beauty in the Lansing Mall (door 22)!

I cannot thank the women who reached out to offer solutions, love and support during this stormy time enough!

Last week I finished two certifications for courses I am passionate about!

This week I am donating my time to an event that is near and dear to my heart! I am so grateful to be able to pay it forward and serve the Lansing Community Caregivers with free massages!

My small business is able to take time off to volunteer for things like this because of all of you who keep my books full and invest in your well being consistently! I am so proud and grateful to know each of you who end up in my little corner of the world 🙏🏻

And, let’s keep paying it forward!

Ashi/Barefoot Massage is Back on the service menu!!

This one surprised me.

My friend, (a fellow LMT who practiced for 13+ years) confessed she did not like “deep pressure” massages. The archaic idea that pressing harder, beyond pain threshold’s sometimes, meant more therapeutic value did not apply to her body, in her experiences. My body and experiences were much the same. Until another friend and LMT began only offering Ashi/Barefoot Massage. I got curious, and had to try it.
I liked it so much I took a course and practiced Barefoot Massage on my friend (the 13+ year LMT). She loved it too! She said “I guess I just don’t like deep pressure with hands and elbows” 😅

This work is done slowly, with intention and therapeutic intuition. As someone who has always picked things up and turned things off with my feet for fun, this technique appeals to me and allows me to extend the longevity of my hands and upper body. My feet are washed before and after each Barefoot Massage, same as I wash my hands before and after a traditional hands-on massage. You will see me wearing special slippers that I wash as well and only wear for Barefoot sessions.

I am excited to offer this style again (now that my Ashi Bars are installed!! Yay!) and bring all my experience and blend it into a unique Deep Tissue, deep pressure, Barefoot Massage!

Ashi/Barefoot Massage:

The deepest pressure massage offered with a myofascial style that aids in healthy functional movement to meet your health goals. Great for athletes and folks who prefer firm, heavy pressure, or deep pressure massage.
Barefoot massage uses broad firm pressure applied by therapists feet.

*90 minute sessions only; required to warm up the tissues and provide safe, effective deep tissue work.
