Pilates instructors really do have their own language 😂
If you’ve been taking classes for a while, you already know that “just a few more” is less of a number and more of a state of mind.

But in our defense... when you’re shaking, sweating, and questioning your life choices, sometimes you need a little encouragement (and maybe a tiny bit of deception 😉).

Just know that every pulse, hold, and “last one” is designed to make you stronger than when you walked in.

“No one wants to hear about my Pilates progress.”
Actually... we do. 🥹

“Pilates is just for women.”

Joseph Pilates would strongly disagree.

Pilates was originally developed by Joseph Pilates to build strength, control, flexibility, and resilience. In fact, many of the first people to embrace the method were athletes, boxers, and dancers looking to improve performance and prevent injuries.

Here’s why more men should be doing Pilates:

Pilates instructors really be saying things that would get them kicked out of any normal conversation 😭

And somehow “engage your core,” “a little deeper,” and “now pulse” are all completely acceptable in a reformer class.

Honestly… Pilates is just one long HR violation with amazing posture and stronger abs.
